VISION STATEMENT COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH Cowboy Country Church 4092 Norge Road (hwy 92) 1 1/2 miles south of 29 th & Grand www.cowboycountrychurch.com Subject: VISION STATEMENT – August 23, 2004 1. WORSHIP: COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH will be a place where cowboys, farmers, ranchers, and anyone who enjoys western heritage and lifestyle can come and praise God in spirit and in truth. 2. FELLOWSHIP: COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH will be a place where hundreds of people will be welcomed into the fellowship of our church family; Loving, learning, laughing, and living in harmony. 3. DISCIPLESHIP: COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH will be a place where new believers can “grow up” and discover spiritual maturity through hearing the “Good News”, Bible study, prayer, giving, and being committed to grow little by little, day by day, year by year, to be more like Christ. 4. MINISTRY: COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH will be a place where people can discover their spiritual gifts, then serve and lead in the church, in the community, the state of Oklahoma, the USA, and the world. We will help plant at least one new church every year. 5. EVANGELISM: COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH will be a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find Love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement. A place where hundreds, even thousands of residents in Grady County and beyond will hear the “Good News” about Jesus Christ. 6. I have a vision for COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH of at least eighty acres of land. A beautiful worship center that will seat hundreds of people, and include a counseling center, classrooms for Bible studies and training ministers. A recreation area with out own arena for Christian rodeos, horse shows, livestock shows, and trail rides. On one end of the property, a youth center for troubled teenagers. On the other end of the property, a community center for senior citizens. A place where peoples spiritual, emotional, and physical needs will be met. A place where lives WILL be changed. I stand before you today and state in confident assurance that these dreams can and will become reality. Why? Because they are inspired by God. NOTE: The above vision statement was read two and one-half years ago at the very first meeting of COWBOY COUNTRY CHURCH. Since that time, this vision statement has been read several times a year every since. We have ministered to many people since that first meeting. People have come and gone, but the vision has not.
